TIM WOLFE, JR. is an bassist and music educator from Bucks County, PA. He is a current band member of trumpet legend Dave Stahl, and has performed with a number of high profile musicians including drummer John Riley, trombonists Conrad Herwig and John Fedchock, saxophonists Larry McKenna and Odean Pope, guitarist Jimmy Bruno, and many others. While in his formative years, Tim was mentored by bassist Jim Miller, saxophonist Tom Strohman, and pianists Andy Roberts and Steve Rudolph. Equally comfortable on double bass and electric bass, Tim has played throughout the United States and internationally (including the Novosibirsk Jazz Festival in Siberia, Russia). He has a Master’s of Music in Jazz Studies and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching, both from The University of the Arts, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music from Lebanon Valley College. In addition to keeping a busy performing schedule, he is an elementary orchestra teacher in Quakertown Community School District, and previously spent ten years as Adjunct Professor of Music at Lebanon Valley College, where he taught bass lessons and directed jazz ensembles.
